Speaking of friendly...southern hospitality is obviously alive here.   Just last week I overheard a visitor ask someone in a shop for directions; they not only got great directions, but had a long conversation about things to do and see, and where to eat during their stay.  At the end of their chat, I gave the newcomer a visitor guide, and thanked the sales clerk.  She didn't know me, but now she has her own stack of visitor guides to give to future customers.  I'm really proud of our hotels, attractions, and residents for being welcoming and helpful to visitors, offering them fun-loving and creative ways to enjoy their time here.

Smiles, handshakes, discounts, and free food for cars...can't you tell we love our visitors?
